| HOKA | Gaviota 5

The Gaviota has been refined with a wider, more accommodating fit, stabilizing H-Frame™, and the softest foams we’ve ever used in a stability shoe.

HOKA Gaviota 5

Forget what you thought you knew about stability shoes. The Gaviota 5’s new stabilizing H-Frame™ has allowed us to implement softer foams than ever before. Delivering inherent stability without compromising cushioning, we’ve paired our intuitive H-Frame base with a breathable creel jacquard upper, ultra-plush collar, and Bondi-level cushioning to deliver that signature HOKA ride.

The Gaviota 5 contains our J-Frame(TM) technology designed to prevent excessive inward roll, or overpronation, without overcorrecting your gait.

The Gaviota 5 features a higher bed of soft cushion, designed to provide a forgiving impact and ride.

The drop of a shoe is the difference in height between the heel and forefoot. The greater the drop, the steeper the angle between your heel and forefoot.

For example, when barefoot, the heel and forefoot touch the ground at the same level: drop is 0. At the other end of the scale, when wearing high heels, the drop is much greater.
