By visiting our website (www.derbyrunner.co.uk) you accept, and agree to, the content of these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time and it is your responsibility to check regularly before ordering. This does not affect your statutory rights.
By placing an order via our website (www.derbyrunner.co.uk), you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders placed are subject to availability and price and confirmation of the order accepted. The Derby Runner shall not accept liability for incidental losses, claims damages or expenses. This includes but is not limited to property, income, expenses, economic or commercial losses to third party claims. This does not affect your statutory rights.
When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order. This email confirms that we have received your order, a contract is not formed until we accept the order and process payment for the goods. When we have accepted the “offer to buy” we will process the order and dispatch as soon as we can. (Usually within 1 working day)
We always try to make sure that our prices and descriptions are accurate, however we are only human, and some errors may occur. If we find an error when you order, we will inform you immediately and rectify where possible and check you are still happy to complete the order, or to cancel. VAT is included in the price displayed where applicable, so what you see is what you pay, subject to delivery costs which shall be displayed in the shopping cart to give you the total amount to pay.
Dispatch and Delivery of Goods
We attempt to dispatch your goods as soon as possible, usually within 1 working day. The Derby Runner will select the appropriate method of postage and is not liable for any delays when goods are in transit. You have the right to cancel your order at any time prior to the goods being dispatched, but once dispatched, you will be required to arrange and pay for return postage. We usually expect deliveries to arrive between 3-5 days. If you selected next day delivery and order before 11am, you will receive your goods the next working day by 5.30pm, however if you select next day delivery and order after 11am, your goods will dispatched the next day and arrive with you the day after.
For example, order Monday 10am, you receive your goods by 5.30pm Tuesday. If you order at 1pm Monday, your goods are dispatched on Tuesday and delivered to you on Wednesday by 5.30pm.
Returns and Refunds – online purchases only.
If what you have bought does not fit or is not quite right for whatever reason, you may return the goods (at your cost) to us for a full refund or exchange providing all the labels are attached and shoes complete with box and packaging and in a “Brand New Condition” so that we can re-sell them within 28 days. Please include a completed copy of our returns form in order that we can process your refund quickly.
If you have a product you believe to be faulty, please return the goods back to us with a completed copy of our returns form so that we can process your refund or exchange as quickly as possible.
*Your statutory rights are not affected.
Returns and Refunds for products in-store.
The Derby Runner are happy to exchange non-faulty products when returned within 14 days. We may offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase, if we genuinely cannot find a suitable product to suit your requirement. This is at our discretion*. All returns must be in original condition (unworn) with labels attached and must be accompanied by the purchase receipt.
If shoes purchased in-store are returned for refund, Video Gait Analysis charge will still apply and will not be refunded.
SALE items are non-refundable but may be exchanged.
*Electrical items such as watches are non-refundable.
Faulty electrical products – If an item is deemed faulty within 7 days The Derby Runner will inspect and deal with replacing or repairing the product. Please note that most electrical items should be charged and updated online before use.
After 7 days has passed it is the responsibility of the customer to contact the service team of the electronic brand. The Derby Runner may also be able to assist with returns after 7 days.
All returns at the discretion of The Derby Runner’s management.
This is in addition to your statutory rights which remain unaffected.
